Paleo Protein Pancakes
Protein + Pancakes is the best of both worlds. I love adding a little protein powder or collagen to pancakes and muffins. Listening and nourishing your body is one of the most basic forms of self care. It doesn’t have to be complicated. If your body is telling you to rest, do it. If you want pancakes, eat the pancakes!
Paleo Protein Pancakes
-1/2 cup @birchbenders pancake mix
-1 scoop @nuzest_usa Vanilla protein
-2/3 cup and 2 Tbs water
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
Heat a non stick pan on medium heat. Coat it with a little ghee, butter or coconut oil.
Whisk together all the ingredients for the pancakes in a mixing bowl. Once it’s all mixed up, use a spoon to scoop the desired amount of batter onto the pan. I usually do about two scoops with a regular spoon, like the kind you’d eat your cereal with. Cook on each side for about 2 minutes or until they have turned a golden color on each side. Top with your favorites and enjoy! Mine are topped with yogurt, maple syrup, and berries.
