Welcome to Wellness with Tima! I am a Certified Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach based in Orange County, California. I received my certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and have a degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge. 

After my own battle with food sensitivities and digestive issues I wanted to support others going through similar situations.  I specialize in gut health, food sensitivities, and stress management. Guiding clients to find balance on and off their plates.

I am very passionate about food and strongly believe that food is medicine.  When I am not working with clients, you can find me creating new recipes and spending time with my family.

I believe that wellness is an ever shifting journey, not a destination. It encompasses all aspects of health. Mental, physical, and everything in between. Our cells and basically every part our bodies function as they were meant to when they are in a state of homeostasis. Wellness is defined as a state of complete well being, when the body and mind are balanced.

Nutrition is of course one of the foundations of good health, however it is not the only important thing. Stress and lifestyle also have a huge influence over our physical state and are often overlooked. We don’t really think about it but stress can cause inflammation in your body and cause damage to your gut and immune system. When looking at wellness, it is important to look at everything that effects a person. Not only the food on our plates, but the food that nourishes our mind and soul as well. When these are in a more balanced state, you will feel better and be more equipped to reach your goals and your ideal health.
